Yes, that's right, I got my tattoo!
And I am going to be completely honest about the whole experience!
So after thinking about the tattoo I found, my mom and I went together last Friday. I kept telling myself, oh this is just to see prices, ask questions, etc. BUT, the guys had no other appointments and were ready for us. Overwhelming nausea came over me, but mom and I asked lots of questions and my nervousness subsided a little.
We got our tattoos at the same time, but luckily there was a girl that worked there about my age who sat with me and held my hand the whole time. She was SUCH a sweetie. I learned a lot about her in those four-five minutes it took!
Honesty: it hurt like hell. It was the weirdest pain I've ever felt. It wasn't pain that I felt like I could cry, it just made me squeeze her hand incredibly hard and cringe!
But, as soon as it was done, it hasn't hurt since. Unlike a piercing!
Here it is!
Y'all I love it. It is just perfect. He sketched it out and everything first. I've heard before that tattoo places just print out the font you want and trace it, and to me that just takes out the artist.
I was so happy to see that he sketched it himself and made sure I liked it. It makes it feel much more special.
I've been putting lotion on it, and it's now starting to flake a little. It shouldn't scab too bad considering where it is on my foot.
Do you have any tattoos? I'd love to hear your stories!
